Statement from PBA’s LeMieux Center for Public Policy on the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

PBA News

The ability to freely and peacefully debate ideas, values, and principles is at the core of our American Republic. Our Founding Fathers prioritized that right in the First Amendment to our Constitution. Charlie Kirk embodied that freedom and his assassination while speaking to young people on a college campus is a national tragedy.

The LeMieux Center for Public Policy at ϳԹ was founded to encourage civil debate on issues of great public importance. We mourn Charlie Kirk’s death, we pray for him and his family, and we rededicate our mission to promoting peaceful discourse.
