Dr. Aimee Franklin

After a competitivesearch processfor our nextdean of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences,ϳԹ (PBA)welcomesDr. Aimee Franklin toserveasdean of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, beginning in March2026.

After completing her Bachelor of Sciencein Biology from Southeastern University, Dr. Franklin received herdoctorateinneuroscience from the University of Alabamaat Birmingham, where she was honored asa Howard HughesMed-Grad Fellow.Dr. Franklin comes to us after serving at Southeastern University asprofessor ofbiology andviceprovostoffacultyaffairsandcommunityinitiatives.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve ϳԹ and to join a community so deeply committed to Christ-centered education and academic excellence,” Dr. Franklin said.“I look forward to learning alongside the faculty, supporting their work, and stewarding the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences in ways that serve our students well.”
