Faculty Awards and Accomplishments: April 2025

PBA News

  • Dr. Austin Stevenson, Assistant Professor of Theology, co-authored an article titled “Pandemic Preparedness: Why Humanities and Social Sciences Matter,” with Frontiers Media, subsequently published by Oxford Global Health and the National Library of Medicine.
  • From March 25–26, PBA hosted the 14th Annual Interdisciplinary Research Conference, designed to highlight and celebrate the scholarship of both students and faculty across all disciplines. This event provided a platform for undergraduate and graduate students and faculty to showcase their outstanding research with the campus community.
  • Dr. Kirk Mensch, director of ϳԹ’s (PBA) Ethics and Organizational Behavior program, Dr. James Barge, adjunct professor for PBA’s Ethics and Organizational Behavior program, and Dr. Kristopher Cravey, associate professor of Organizational Behavior, were invited to attend the (ALWC) at Oxford University. Three PBA graduate students, Linnea Axengren, Patricia Elliot and Dallas Watterson were also invited to attend. Mensch was awarded the Confessore Award for Academic Excellence, which recognizes scholars who have made significant contributions to the academic community through collegial engagement and a dedication to academic excellence as well as the advancement of Autonomous Learning.
